The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.
SASSA will be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed regarding the superior number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area sassa status check daily. The assistance position designed for intervention encounters a superior influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more methods to enable the servicing of all shoppers and boost usage of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
